The Team

Dr. Richins has a passion for dentistry. Shortly after graduating from Oregon Health Sciences University, he started his practice here in Meridian. He loves technology and has always been at the forefront, being the first in Idaho to use digital x-rays and cad-cam systems. He exceeds the requirements in continuing education to stay abreast of the latest and best in dentistry. He treats each patient as he would treat his own family.

Dr. Richins and his beautiful wife Teresa are the proud parents of eight children and eight grandchildren. The family loves boating and camping together. Dr. Richins also loves fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, and racquetball.

Amber joined the Advantage Dental team in the fall of 2007, and she not only has her degree as a Dental Hygienist, but is a certified Dental Assistant as well. She was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. She moved to the Boise area in 2005 where she attended hygiene school. Amber enjoys her job as a hygienist and being part of a great dental team! Staying current with the most recent advancements in dental technology is important to Amber so that she can give her patients the most skilled and advanced treatment possible. Outside of the office Amber loves to quilt, scrapbook and anything else crafty. She and her husband enjoy traveling, camping, fishing, hiking, playing with their two dogs.

Tina was part of the Advantage Dental team from July 1998 through January 2001, and rejoined us here in February 2006. Her experience spans 26 years in dentistry, and her skills and knowledge make her the best dental assistant we could ask for! She loves getting to work for such a great team of people, and she loves seeing and being a part of the honest and precise care that Dr. Richins gives. She is a native of Boise and enjoys spending her time snow skiing, baking, and spending as much time as possible with her husband and three daughters.
